In compliance with the directive of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) in its Memorandum Order 10-10-2017, all telecom proviers in the Greater Metro Manila area will migrate all existing 7-digit landline numbers to 8-digit telephone numbers.

This change applies to telephone numbers in the cities and towns of Metro Manila with the area code “02”, including Rizal Province; San Pedro, Laguna; and Bacoor Cavite.

This migration process will start early morning of October 6th from 12:01AM to 5:00AM.

Once migration is completed, all fixed and wireless landline customers in Greater Metro Manila will have 8-digit telephone numbers.

Landline numbers of all Greater Metro Manila customers will be changed:

Bayantel – add 3
Eastern Telecom – add 5
Globe/Innove – add 7
PLDT – add 8
